Victory Drive is not your typical “gun podcast” where we focus solely on dry conversations about tips and tricks to become better shooters. VD (not the disease) is meant to entertain first, inspire second, and educate third, we will accomplish all of this by sharing amazing stories of triumph and tribulation from interesting people. About The Host
I have often considered myself as a Swiss Army Knife in life. I am not great at any one thing, but I am well versed enough in a lot of things to handle most situations. Even as a kid in sports I could never stick to just one, I had to play every sport in High School, that turned out to be a blessing as I got older and joined the Army during my Junior year. I started out my Army career as an Infantryman assigned to the Reconnaissance Platoon and was immediately deployed to Afghanistan, I unfortunately had to switch jobs to Field Artillery where I was then sent to Kuwait for some time. I grew up hunting whitetails in Iowa as a kid and I knew that when my time ended in the military I was going to dive deep back into hunting, and that’s when I decided to get into bowhunting. As much as I love bowhunting, my first true love has always been shooting guns. Staying proficient with firearms is an integral part of being an American gun owner, and with Victory Drive we will continue the old American tradition of firearm proficiency.
